My name is Blair. I'm the "other" sister. You may know my older sister Lauren (the Doctor) or my little-but-taller sister Taylor (the Lawyer), but this story isn't about them. It's about me.
Let's skip the awkward years of braces, poofy bangs and acid wash jeans. Let's look at the past decade where the camera was a little more kind, the memories are a little more fresh and life got a little more interesting.
Where the love story all began....the college years. Or rather, my college years. Josh swooped in from North Carolina during my sophomore year of college at Clemson University. We hit it off immediately, him braving the fact that I was 5 years younger and me embracing the fact that he was so hot.
We married shortly after I graduated college. Two short months in fact. I was a fresh-faced bride at the now-what-seems-oh-so-young age of 21.
Josh has been on Young Life staff for the past 10 years. It embraces two of our most favorite things: our faith in the Lord and our hope for lost high school people to experience the saving grace of Jesus Christ. It also gives us an excuse to dress-up like a crazy hillbilly for skits (see above picture!)
We spent the first seven years very happily married. We traveled, had adventures and fell even more in love.
We thought life couldn't possibly get any better. Then we had a baby.
And with the addition of Mills, our family became complete. The years that have followed have been more full than I could have ever dreamed. I sincerely feel like we are living the "immeasureably more than all we ask or imagine" that the scripture talks about in Ephesians 3:20-21 and because of that, I want to give "glory in the church and in Christ Jesus throughout all generations for ever and ever!"
I wouldn't be who I am today without the love and support of my two amazing sisters---hugs and kisses to my older sis Lauren and my baby sis Taylor
much love,
Blair
